ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Junior Sales will:
- Drive sales of Right People custom solutions for events and conventions to clients throughout the United States;
- Develop a set of key accounts related to the congress and events industry;
- Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and demonstrate how Right People solutions can assist them to achieve their business goals;
- Dedicate majority of time to direct telephone sales;
- Rework and maintain old account files and solicit new accounts;
- Maintain accurate forecast and recap information.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A highly aggressive sales professional with a proven track record of success
- 1 to 2+ years phone or direct sales experience required in the congress and event industry
- Understanding of social networks is a plus
- A relentless work ethic and a desire to go the extra mile
- Knowledge of the convention and exhibitions industry strongly preferred
- Self-motivated individual interested in individual success while being a solid contributor to the team
- Demonstrated excellent customer relationship management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills
